In society people treat others as they have been treated by them. You help me, I’ll help you. Show interest in me, I’ll show interest in you. Comfort me, I’ll comfort you. In the church we belong to Christ, so we treat others as God has treated us in Christ. As God has my eternal interests at heart so I can have others best in mind as well.
