Small Group Covenant

We agree to the following values:

Purpose: Our group is committed to growing healthy spiritual lives by building a healthy small group community.  Our purpose includes studying relational evangelism content in the “Just Walk Across the Room” curriculum and then to develop/apply these skills through the “God Questions” study.

Attendance: To give priority to the group meeting (call if I will be late or absent.)

Safe Environment: To help create a safe place where people can be heard and feel loved (please, no quick answers, snap judgments, or simple fixes.)

Confidentiality: To keep anything that is shared strictly confidential and within the group.

Spiritual Health: To give group members permission to help me live a healthy spiritual life that is pleasing to God.

Inviting People: To keep an open chair in our group and share Jesus’ dream of finding a place in community by inviting newcomers.

Shared Ownership: To remember that every member has a towel over the arm role and can serve by facilitating or helping with logistical needs of the group.

Spiritual Partners:  To pair up with one other person whom I can support more diligently and help grow spiritually.
