Welcome to KidConnection at RiverValley Church. We seek to provide a safe, Christian atmosphere for the youngest members of our church family. We hope that our loving care for your child will allow you to participate in the opportunities available here at RiverValley.

Ministering to the newest of God’s Family is a big responsibility. It involves time, energy, and effort.  But it is also a rewarding experience, as we touch the lives of our children. We believe that our children are God’s greatest gift! Children’s ministry provides special care to infants-5th grade that contribute to their well being and strengthens the Christian nurture the child experiences at home. The Children’s Ministry strives to provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. In addition, basic concepts such as sharing, caring, and honesty are taught at a basic level through stories and activities.  Your child is very important to us, and we want his or her time with us to be enjoyable, well directed and rewarding.

Our commitment is to provide a safe, caring environment through trained caregivers and a security system that ensures your child’s safety. We also know that as parents, you need to be sure that your child is getting the best possible care during worship. If you have any questions or suggestions, we hope you will call us. OUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Our workers are volunteers who have a love and a heart for children that are in our nursery.  In order for them to be workers, they need to meet several qualifications:
  • A background check and information sheet must be filled out and turned in.  This allows us to make sure that they are in good standing in working with children.
  • On-going training.  This includes quarterly meeting/training sessions.
  • Must be a regular attender of RiverValley Church.
