We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church resulting in a priority given to reaching them with the gospel.
The church accomplishes this primarily through relational evangelism by training believers in the process of building relationships with the intent of sharing the gospel and helping develop fully-devoted followers of Jesus.
RiverValley views missionary work not only to be for those who are called to work in full time in missions, but for everyone in the local body. Everyone is called to be a missionary in their own area of influence based upon the great commission given by Jesus that tells us to go into the world and make disciples baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
